Peliqan is a highly scalable and secure all-in-one data platform with AI-first ELT, transformations, and reverse ETL. As a Presales Data/Analytics Engineer, you will support the sales team with technical demos, proof of concepts (PoCs), and solution design for prospects. You bridge the gap between customer requirements and Peliqan’s platform capabilities, helping prospects experience the power of AI-driven data activation firsthand. Your technical credibility and storytelling will be critical to winning deals.

Your Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to understand prospect requirements and design tailored solutions
• Deliver compelling live product demos showcasing Peliqan’s ELT, transformations, Reverse ETL, and AI capabilities
• Build and execute proof-of-concept projects using prospect data and real-world use cases
• Translate complex data architecture challenges into clear, business-relevant solution narratives
• Create technical collateral: solution architectures, demo environments, and reference configurations
• Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires with accurate technical detail
• Provide feedback to product and engineering teams on prospect needs, feature gaps, and competitive intelligence
• Stay current with the data and analytics ecosystem: BI tools, data warehouses, ETL/Reverse ETL, and AI trends
• Support marketing with technical content for webinars, blog posts, and case studies

What Makes You a Great Candidate

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, BI, or solutions/sales engineering
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Postgres)
• Familiarity with ELT/ETL tools, data transformation frameworks (dbt), and BI platforms (Looker, Power BI, Tableau)
• Experience building demos, PoCs, or technical evaluations in a presales or consulting context
• Excellent presentation and storytelling skills — able to make data topics engaging for technical and business audiences
• Understanding of APIs, Python scripting, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Customer-facing experience with strong empathy for prospect pain points
• Experience in SaaS, data platforms, or the modern data stack ecosystem is a strong asset
• Dutch speaking is a plus
