What is an e-conomic MCP server?
It is a Model Context Protocol server that lets AI apps such as Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini answer questions about your Visma e-conomic data. Peliqan runs one for you, so there is nothing to install or host.
Does Visma have its own MCP server for e-conomic?
We found none as of October 2026. Visma runs MCP servers for other products, such as Business NXT and Visma Net, but not for e-conomic. Peliqan's e-conomic MCP works today and also covers 300+ other apps in the same server.
How do I connect e-conomic to Claude or ChatGPT?
Start a free trial on Peliqan and grant Peliqan access to your e-conomic agreement. Then add https://mcp.peliqan.io/mcp as a custom connector in your AI app and sign in to Peliqan. In ChatGPT, custom connectors need a Business, Enterprise or Edu plan.
Can the AI create or change records in e-conomic?
The e-conomic MCP is built for questions. If you need your AI to create or change records in e-conomic, contact us and we will look at writeback for your case.
Will AI questions slow down e-conomic?
Mostly not. Questions run as SQL on the synced copy in Peliqan's data warehouse, not on e-conomic's API. Only the scheduled syncs and a few live lookups call e-conomic.
Is my e-conomic data secure?
Peliqan is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified, GDPR compliant and hosted on AWS in Frankfurt. Peliqan holds the e-conomic tokens, so your AI app never sees them.
What does it cost?
Peliqan MCP costs €15 per connection per month, with a 7-day free trial and no card needed. There is no charge per user, but each connection belongs to one user.
